Today was a rather typical Uni day (or rather not)...
Well last night (or this morning) I slept at near 3am. Had like 4 hours of sleep (basically it just isn't enough for me)... was up late workin on my PSYC assignment due today... had to force myself to work and luckily for me... the song in my blog kept me calm (even now...) and I was able to work without much other distractions...
Went off to school in my mum's car (too tired for a 45 mins walk to Uni)... she dropped me off at the lower campus so still I had to walk quite a bit to upper campus...
First lecture today was SCIF(perspectives in medical science) and as usual the 2 hours lecture was torturing... Well usually I would just switch off and on during class, but today we had a guest speaker so that means we couldn't exactly just switch off because he didn't wanna upload the notes on our website... the plus point for that lecture was that he ended earlier so that means we didn't have to rush to our next lecture...
BABS (Molecules, Cells and Genes) isn't usually boring... but today I sort of dozed off... Thought I was in another class for a second LOL.
PSYC (Psychology) tutorial was okie... most of it was the test which I think it would have been okie should I have studied more.
That should've ended off my short Tuesday like usual but I stayed in school for another 2 plus hours... Met Alice and Deirdre after class, well apparently they already had lunch. I was eating by myself... felt quite weird and plus my lunch wasn't that fantastic. But it all got better when L (a guy friend) walked past the building we were in and surprisingly said HI when I didn't think usually he would. We haven't really talked since we were back in school (which was just ytd) though we were in most of our classes. He cut his hair and funny I have to say. First reaction was to laugh. I know it is bad just couldn't help it. Actually we were chatting online at ard 1am 'cos I wanted to ask him how to do the PSYC assignment... lol he said he didn't sleep the whole night... as usual...
Well back to the bit where we waved and he didn't actually say HI... he just walked in and his opening line was "GOOD MORNING"... haha it was 1.30pm already I think... Well anyway he came in to promote to buy waffles for the cancer foundation... they were like $1 each and I figured out that my lunch wasn't so nice, so might as well... Gave him the money and asked if he could buy it for me and he went to Q for me... (sounds sweet but probably wasn't.. he wanted me to buy it so ... ^_^)
He came back with the waffle... it was a small penguin waffle... filled with nutella (my choice over golden syrup). The waffle isn't all that nice but since he had to buy it for me.. i guess it just made the waffle tasted a little nicer. He rushed off for BABS lab after and I walked to the chemistry computer lab to complete my weekly computer assignment.
It was about ions being diamagnetic/paramagnetic... First trial I got 4 (missed by 1 mark to the full marks)... My SCIF tut classmates Rahul and Stephen happened to be around so we discussed the answers with each other and finally the three of us all got 5. Growing up in an all girls' school for the past 12 years of my education life made interacting with guys rather weird (or challenging maybe)... But today it didn't feel as bad... I guess in a way we are all humans... we will all find a way to interact with each other eventually.
The day was pleasantly cold with showers in between... and it drizzled when I was about to head home... so I caught the bus. Usually the bus would take like half an hour wait but it ended up being only 10mins... Even though I had to walk home a little since the bus stopped 2 stops before mine... I was lazy to take out my umbrella so was semi walking in the rain...
Maybe that is what caused my headache that I am having now. It is now 11.59pm and I should probably be in bed since I only caught an hour nap this arvo...
