A BRAND NEW MONTH

Time seriously flies...

I know I haven't updated for nearly a week and a half... Many times I feel like updating but am just too lazy or exhausted...

Yesterday morning I went to the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages to apply for a CHANGE OF NAME certificate... lol.. of course I am not changing my name... it is just that SABRINA didn't appear in my passport (thought it was added by handwriting) and so my other identifications all stated that I can only be known as TXN... Having Xuan as my first name sounds really weird too... and plus if I'm making the Australian passport I'll need the certificate before all my IDs (some with Sabrina and some without) can be all uniformly the same and all say that I am called SABRINA XN, Tang... hahaha and still I had to pay $136... The appointment was initially at 10.40am but I ended up leaving my house at 10.30am and reaching there like half an hour past the appointment time... but luckily 'cos it was a Friday, not many people were there and I didn't have to wait that long...

I arranged to meet Jia Yun but she said she had stuff to do so I went shopping while waiting for her... I bought like two winter hats for $50... this autumn is extremely cold and I'm sure it might just be truly freezing in winter... haix.. what to do? Global Warming... I then headed to the DVD shop and got two HK shows for $20... That's the only thing I like about buying dramas in Australia.. you can obtain HK shows at much much cheaper prices... LOL... Met Jia Yun finally and went to have Oportos for lunch (thought it was the fastest since it is fast food) before we walked to the CENTRAL train station together.

She was nice and train-ed with me to Lidcombe (half an hour ride) and went with me to USYD to conduct an interview for my SCIF assignment... It felt really comfortable because I was there two years ago for a two day replacement and many things felt so familiar. The bus drivers there are so much more friendly too!

Then we train-ed back to CENTRAL where she met her bf and so abandon me... and I was left alone... I could have gone home but didn't feel like heading home that early... Went to get a $3 SUPER SLURPEE which I finished it at home because it was just too large and bought Hainanese Chicken Rice... the quality wasn't good so I have half a packet left for today...

I finished one DVD of "Off Pedder" - 20 Eps in about 7 hours plus I think... guess I was having a headache and didn't feel like doing anything else...

Thursday was pretty much like usual except at night there was this PASAR MALAM thing and I went with a couple of Singapore and Malaysian friends... The atmosphere was quite right with the right food though the quality wasn't as fantastic... My favourite highlight of the night was banana fritters... It came with ice-cream, chocolate sauce and peanuts... It felt as if I was back in Singapore except the weather was cold... Really cold.. Wanted to catch a bus home initally but I missed the one before by 10 mins and had to wait another 45 minutes so I decided to walk home..

Maybe it was too cold, maybe I was quite scared.. I could feel my legs walking faster than my body... I reached home in no more than 30 minutes... A great achievement YEAH!

The rest of last week of mostly assignments and tests... CHEM test on THURS was like "I would be really happy if I passed"... I failed my PSYC test very badly... that's why I am really worried...

Okie, I think I should pack up my room a little so I have the motivation to study and I should since I have a BABS (Molecules, Cells and GEnes) test on MOnday...
